That First Birthday!
One thing I absolutely love about being a family photographer is the opportunity, ability and honor of sharing some of the most precious milestones with my families. First birthdays are surely the cutest!! Especially when they include a cake smash!!
Every little one is so precious, and so unique in their own special way. At the age of one, some are waddling, others are crawling; some would giggle at every funny face you make, others would keep their smiles hidden even at your best attempts. In short, no two sessions are even vaguely similar. And that's the beauty of it all.
This little madam rocked her session. In my experience, little ones usually need a little encouragement to dig into the cake. Not this one, nope! She actually caught me off-guard by jumping onto the cake as soon as we set her down. What a joy you are to everyone around you, M!
